The statement don’t ask how the sausage is made doesn’t apply here! Often the quality of meat or ingredients are a big question mark. But, you get to be in control of both! You will know exactly what quality of meat you are using and what exactly the seasonings are – no sugar, fillers, nitrates or preservatives.
Whether you grind your own pork or turkey, or buy it that way, our sausage is as simple as can be.
Place 1 pound of ground meat in a bowl or a stand mixer.
Add 3 level Tablespoons of our sausage seasoning and 1 Tablespoon of vinegar of choice. Mix to combine well. NOTE: If you are using turkey, you might want to add a tablespoon or two of fat to help with frying- we recommend olive oil or coconut oil.
Cook it immediately or freeze for later use. (If you wish to refrigerate it before cooking – keep it no longer than the original expiration date on the meat used.)
