Whether you grind your own pork or turkey, or buy it already ground, our sausage is as simple as can be.
- First, place 1 pound of ground meat in a bowl or a stand mixer.
- Next, add 2 Tablespoons of our sausage seasoning and mix to combine well. NOTE: If you are using turkey or very lean meat, you might want to add a Tablespoon or two of fat – we recommend olive oil or coconut oil.
- You can make sausage patties or cook it as loose meat. (If you are ambitious, you can case it into links.)
Cook it immediately or freeze for later use. (If you wish to refrigerate it before cooking – keep it no longer than the original expiration date on the meat used.)
